    [Misc] C1085 Fuser Belt

Have a c1085 where the fuser belt keeps walking to the back side. All rollers, heat sleeves, bearings, etc have been replaced. Can't seem to figure out why. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea?

Sometimes those fusers can get tweaked just enough where this will happen. Best, yet expensive, option is to replace the whole fuser unit. Inspect the unit very carefully and make sure the frame is perfectly straight and no twist to it.

the Fusing Steering Actuator Assy gets little nicks in it and will cause the belt to walk . Item 26

I agree with Ziggy. I also encountered several times that the bearing on the top cover would jam, which prevented the shift mechanism from responding quickly.
