I've installed the FW onto a C308, but when I go to the SMTP settings, I can't see OAuth anywhere, like it is on the iSeries - that's actually standing at the device, not through pagescope
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

Same here. Tried it out but the instructions we have from Konica are for an i-Series and refer to menus/buttons that don't exist on an 8 series. Tried Page Scope as well. Either I'm missing something basic or there is some unmentioned dip switch to set too or something.

After updating to GC2-RF set the function version to 2.3.

2.3 is the latest for the i-series stuff. According to the release notes 4.2 is the latest function version for the 8 series.

For what it's worth...the machine I was testing with was on 4.2.

Same here. Not very clear on how to enable it.

Don't worry, even though my device has OAuth 2.0 settings after installing G00-YE (probably OAuth because I can't be sure what that is 😁), all the buttons are blank anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I tried different languages but still the same result.

Is there anything new in the webinterface that you can see?
Does it a have a separate sub menu under Network -> OAuth or something like the OpenAPI stuff? It may need the SSL Cert applied to it under protocol.
Is the web browser enabled on the machines you are testing on?

I wonder if the 8 series uses the App API settings like the Kyoceras, so may have to test creating an app connector in the Entra Admin Centre and using Client ID, Tenant ID and Secret.

I won't have access to this FW release until October as Olivetti are always delayed so I can't test for myself.

You can't set OAuth through web interface on 8 series so no in that regard.

It may need the SSL Cert applied to it under protocol.
But even if certificate is needed that shouldn't make buttons blank, am I right?

Yes, the browser needs to be enabled. That's probably the issue that the guys in the previous posts have.

What if you set this setting to enable ?

If I recall correctly nothing. It's just one of the options. The main on/off switch is in the first photo. Setting up the email settings and clicking one of the buttons with an arrow in the lower right corner will direct you to the MS/Google authentication site. I suppose it's possible with the trial and error method, but installing a machine like that in the field and having the customer set up his own email like that is not acceptable to me.

Thank you for the replies and insight. Hopefully this gets ironed out soon. Have a fair few 8 series at clients that will need this update.

Can confirm, that is the piece I was missing. Just tried it again but enabled the browser. I am able to see the OAuth2 settings now. I was able to reach the Microsoft OAuth login page.

So the buttons in OAuth settings on your machine are not blank? Which model is this exactly?
I thought it was a bug in the FW and that it would behave the same on every machine. I even tried installing G00-YE on another C368 and got the same result.
