Brand new Press 6120 and Fiery MIC-4160

    Hello all!

Looking for a piece of a puzzle, of course installation instructions aren't perfect but I have a brand new Fiery installed on a new KM press 6120.

Printing works, can see the fiery via web page, but when you press controller on the device I get a blank white screen that eventually times out to a page not found error.

the fiery is connected to the device via the video cable (from the video board to the connector on the fiery, with that odd shaped hdmi cord and the network cable is connected to the net connector on the fiery (copier symbol) and the net connector on the newly installed video board, if you unplug the net connector the fiery immediately notices.

also dip sw 40-7 is set to 0 for the fiery.

    What am I Missing?

    Regards!
    A.

Yes the vi-509 was installed , followed all instructions per vi kit and everything else. At least until the fiery refused to even turn on now. Go figure. Appears dead now . No nothing

Did you enable IPv6 on the copier and set it to DHCP? The Fiery should configure the mfp for communications. This is how all the Kyo Fierys talk to the mfp, the video cable is just RIP data.
