    Biz 454e

    Hi

    Is there a soft switch or something to reset toner gauge to full on this 454e B&W model? I put a new OEM toner in early and display still has a message "replace toner when indicated". I didn't have time to run halftones to run out toner until machine stopped and said to replace.
    Firmware was just updated.

      dont think there is one for anything older than 8 series.

          Thanks, reason I asked is seem to recall a color 4 series bulletin about resetting toners all back to full? Think it might of been a firmware?

              Just a longshot here ... is the front doorswitch being made? I had an 808 not too long ago showing "Add Toner". I changed the toner ... no change, but I did notice that the "Door Open" message did not appear when the door was open. The spring actuator for the front door switch was bent from slamming. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      If you replaced the toners early then the gauge won't reset.

                      The only way to reset the counters is remove all toners then full full bleed gradations prints then fit each toner back when prompted.

                          4/4e doesn't matter there is no switch.

                              There is a F/W to reset toners. Thought I remembered seeing it. I had looked under regular FW but is was under special FW on Kon/Min dealer site.

                              Here are the Color & B&W F/W's to reset toners to 100%
