    [Jamming] Doc feeder J6633

    Good morning,
Have a C450i that is jamming in the doc feeder. It does not even have over 100k on it. I go to the test mode and run the paper passage, put a stack in and press start. It starts pull in paper in and it is going and all of a sudden a KLUNK and a J6633. I have cleaned all the sensors in the path and there is no reason that I can see why it does this. It could be at the beginning of the stack and then I think it s going all the way through and then KLUNK!!! I have tested the sensors and they are good. Just one of those things. Any input would be swell!!!
    Thanks
    KEN

Can you pull the paper through the DP or does it catch? I would do a sensor check and manual flag sensors and make sure they are all turning on and off. The turn over sensor has had alot of issues for me in the past

Check tension on the belts at the back.

Yea you can pull the paper through, there are no tick on the paper. I did "adjust" the post that holds the cover down. I have had trouble with those. Yea pretty much the paper is laying in the feed section and then pull the paper out the exit. I will check the belts and sensors.

judging just by the noise you describe it sounds like a wayward paperclip riding on a belt and locks up on a gear.
          thats my guess final answer
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

If you dont find a paper clip check the frame for gear drive on top door. There is a bulliten on this.

If the paper makes it all the way around the bend and you pull it out the bottom or the exit like you said I would bring a turn over optical sensor with you when you go.
