was remote desktop ever enabled?
what do you see when you log into the fiery via browser?

I can't connect to the Fiery
The workstation tells me: “failed to connect to IC-415-C233” and I do not have access to the controller tab on the machine which tells me "controller unplugged"
for the "desktop memote" I don't know where to find it, but if you tell me how to look I can give you the information!

I don't know why but I think the fiery hard drive is dead... it happens about once a year... but this time I no longer have the Konica technician to help and I don't have the USB key to reload the operating system; I ordered 2 500GB hard drives and I'm waiting for them to arrive... just have to find the OS and load it on them!!!

Thanks for your help, I have a big printing job to finish for Christmas and it's a bit of a disaster!!!!

in windows on your pc open remote desktop connection
type in the IP of the fiery and hit connect.
see if it connects.
usually when a fiery fails you will see FF or AA on the LED but you show 00 so im curious if you can open the fiery ip in a web browser?

OK, I'm doing this tomorrow...
but I'm almost certain I won't see the fiery!

I tried to understand: so I removed the disk and restarted the fiery. He did the same thing as if the disk was connected, which is why I conclude that it is the disk that is the problem; (I print a lot of large files and according to Konica the fiery disk is overused)

here's what happened when I restarted it without the disk:

-the fiery first started up displaying FF but without lighting the initialization button lamp. He stayed like that.

SO:

-I turned it off by holding the button for a long time;
-then I turned it on again with the same button, the lamp came on and it initialized itself by making "beeps" then ending up displaying 00...
-he has done this cycle several times on his own and if I hadn't turned him off I think he would still be doing it .

ok, heres what i would do to check for hardware issue,
hook up a kbd and mouse and a monitor and boot the fiery.
if you are able to see it go through the bios, hit DEL or F1 or whatever lets you in the bios.
go to hardware monitor in the bios and look at the temps.
more than once ive seen a broken leg on a heatsink on the CPU and it overheats and reboots.
if you are able to keep it alive while in the bios the fiery hardware itself is usually ok.
but if it were me id check the temps and see if there is any issue there.

Good morning,

I didn't know that you could connect a screen and a keyboard to the fiery IC-415!
I looked and I already found a VGA or DVI connection but there is a metal plate on it!
For the keyboard and mouse there are two USB ports!

IC-415 192.168.1.200 is not possible through remote desktop connection

I plugged in a working USB keyboard and VGA screen.
Nothing is displayed on the screen, the keyboard lights up

A strange thing happened while I was doing the tests. The fiery reconnected for 5 minutes before falling again!!!

I'm waiting for my hard disk and OS installation files that my old Konica tech said he sent me

I also got an old IC308 which doesn't work either (when I plug it in it starts but the screen doesn't light up)...
but I saw that the two cards and cables on the two fierys seem identical.

amazing !
my IC415 works again...(and I think it won't last...)
and I do not know why !!!
when it works and the machine prints the display does: 00

I reconnected the hard drive for the 100th time... and it reconnected itself when I turned the machine back on.

I think there are false contacts due to too much humidity (75%) or the disk is damaged

I have two questions:
- what is the default password to access the fiery as administrator?
- why does the VGA screen that I connected to the fiery not display anything?

I'll take pictures and show you all this!

Fiery.1 was the usual password.

as far as the screen unless the fiery has a FACI kit a monitor is useless past the BIOS post.
its using all the video resources for the print engine of the Fiery so no display is normal.
this is why a pc using remote desktop to the fiery is used if running CWS from it.
tower Fierys can be upgraded to have the full PC experience with a FACI kit.

This morning I have the error code while my machine printed code C0322 has displayed.
I saw on the internet that it is a fan that may be blocked by paper.
I exhausted the machine and I will look.

Good morning,
I found the problem!
It is the FM29 fan which is dead. I put in a new fan that Konica sold me and here we go again.

Today it was the FM30 which got stuck... and caused the code C-0303, It was full of dust...
With a good blow of the air blower it started spinning again!!!

I had thought about changing the electronic card ...
But I was wise to wait!!!!
