what's the latest FW - are there any error codes associated with when it happens. There's a possibility it could be either the CPU board or the memory board.
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

      Hi.
Please check the voltage on the BIOS battery. If the battery is fine and the voltage is more than 3.0 volts, then I have some bad news for you. These are the signs that indicate the device will soon get locked at 25% during boot-up. There's a problem with the Phison SSD firmware.

To put it briefly, it's like this. Konica Minolta had device releases before and after July 2022.
ver1 Devices released before July 2022 were equipped with PHISON 256 GB 64 layer.
ver.2 Devices released AFTER July 2022 were equipped with PHISON 256 GB 96 layer. This is evidenced by the Parts Guide Manual.

You need to pay attention to the "Storage Controller" firmware. The version can be found in [Service mode] > Firmware version.

If the version installed is G01 XX (I had G01-07), it means you have the "PHISON 256GB 64 layer" installed.

If the version installed is G00 XX, it means you have the "PHISON 256GB 96 layer" installed.

If you have ver1, the first thing you need to do is a mandatory procedure for updating Boot. You need to update the Boot firmware to version G01-08.
In your case, you require the firmware ACT90Y0-F000-GXX-03, which contains your Boot version G01-08.

After the Boot is updated, you will need to update to the current firmware, not lower than [G00-N4] Function Version 2.2 Maintenance Release 3 (DLKM_BT2212723EN).

I have already encountered various symptoms on bizhub 4050i, c3350i, C257i, C250i, and all of them were associated with SSD problems. Switching to MicroSD does not help.

And if you have ver2, then you need to format the SSD and update the firmware to the current version, not lower than [G00-N4] Function Version 2.2 Maintenance Release 3 (DLKM_BT2212723EN).

In any case, I would recommend you to contact a service center, as this is a warranty case.

I hope this information will be useful to you..

Update boot rom. I would go with CPU board though.

You should always be updating boot rom when updating firmware. If the machine doesn't need the boot rom file it will let you know . you should also, after setting machine and type, update boot rom and update firmware when replacing the cpu before letting it go through the recover data function. instructions on how to do boot rom attached
