how to change the count of an A3 sheet

Hi everyone... do any of you know how to change the count of A3 sheets? Let me explain better... when I photocopy or print an A3 sheet the machine counts 2 copies made, because the A3 is considered as 2 A4 sheets. Instead, I want the A3 sheet to be counted as an A4 sheet, so only one copy added in the machine count.
The machine in question is a konica minolta c284e

OP sounds like they could be an end user with a by-the-click service contract and is about to screw the servicing company with your help.
      or am i being paranoid?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

If you are being paranoid, then so am I. I had the exact same thought when reading his question, and then seeing the response on how to change it. Looking at the join date of last month and only 2 posts in the forum so far, end user is exactly what I was seeing.
A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

i remember a customer doing that themselves and the CQ and drum wear was way down at 60% and the way i caught it was on the meter sheet A3/11x17 still clicks as "LARGE" (for reference) on the page and still shows the count by size. it just clicked the main totals 1 click but simple math (and the amount of toner used) showed they set to no-count for tens of thousands of pages. we back billed the snot out of them and dropped the contract terms to labor only.

+1. Someone is getting screwed over.

I have been asked this from dodgy end-users before.
              Whatever

consumables go by minutes of use anyway so i dont see the point other than some shady AF reason.
