1-deleting partitions and formatting in fat 32
2-It is not a computer SSD, it has to be KonicaMinolta. If it is a model more updated than the one the machine had, you have to boot with the pen with the firmware and load the boot rom, as described in the service manual.
3-Place in the machine and wait for the recover data to run.

no need to partition it. just delete all partitions and leave it blank. the machine will format and partition it when its installed.
you'll need the PDF/A Font and Movie Data and you'll have to reinstall the scans/user boxes and any other service settings that you use with it.
only the meters and consumable data is carried over when the SSD is replaced.

just a heads up though, in my experience a machine stuck at 25% or 50% on boot is almost always caused by the CPUB.

Have you run the diagnosis and recovery tool? It might be possible to recover some data from a bad SSD or bad CPU board before replacement.

When started with usb FW to update the machine FW with the new SSD, the MFP CONTROLLER strated and finished with Download N.G message and SCANNER/PRINTER finish with Download completed message.

with the old SSD he MFP CONTROLLER strated with 10% Download and finished with Download N.G message.

Is there any method to format the SSD from the usb FW?

How the machine will format and partition the SSD without booting up and using service mode?

Just put a blank SSD in and boot with, and run, the firmware.
The machine will reboot into 'recover data' hit that and reboot again.
It should be back to (mostly) factory settings.

In this case I'd be almost certain that your problem is the CPUB, not the SSD.
Do you still have the original SSD? You are not ment to put in a new CPUB and SSD in at the same time.

if this is true ,reinstall original ssd and do logical format from service mode. if you must format and remove old system from a corruped drive. try testdisk freeware . remove all partitions.

my question is how to access the service mode from the firmware usb key since the machine no longer starts

Have you tried holding down the reset key on boot and get into service mode from the recovery console?

I tried to use "tesdisque" with the old SSD but it was inaccessible. maybe it is encrypted
