    DF-7120 J6511

We placed some 3552ci's with DF-7120 (1000 sheet) finishers. We are getting jam 6511 on 4 of the 6 we installed in November. paper doesn't seem to be the issue (Boise X-9) as it's not curling or anything. I haven't seen the jam occur, but there are enough of them to be concerned & the customer has called for them. All machines have latest firmware. I'm told that they get them jam when not stapling, so that eliminates that as a source of the issue.
    Any ideas or input appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Hope that helps !

It's running through the cassettes, both Letter & letter-r. Did not try reseating connectors since it was happening on multiple machines.
        Hope that helps !

Is the paper skewing anywhere in the path? Is there an actual jam at the finisher stack eject?

              J6511 - Google Drive

No, our Kyocera rep was here Thursday & is sending U964 info to New Jersey. I've shared my event log / maint pages above. I don't see any commonality.
Shoot me a PM with your rep's info & I can have mine get in touch with him. My rep was at another location two weeks ago for the same code.
The more info we get together, the quicker we can get some resolution.
              Hope that helps !

                Hello,
                I have the same problem J6511, on several DF 7120 & 7110.
                I am interested in information.
To test, I just put the latest firmware V4 and on a machine I selected Collate.
                Thank you.

                  Hi...
The copiers showing the jam codes , do they have the 3000 sheet paper deck ? What are the configurations of the ones not jamming?

What was the setting before? Do you adjust these beyond default "0" values when installing or was it shipped that way?

Thank you for this post. Though I would like to add in on this.

U246 did end up being the solution to resolve the buckling jam occurring with J6511. However, in my case, it required more adjusting than just setting the values to 0.

I needed to play with the settings for both "Width Front HP" and "Width Tail HP". My adjustments ended up being +2 Front and +8 Tail. Make sure to test it thoroughly to avoid a repeat visit.

Playing around with one at our shop, if I make changes in U246, then test in U240 as it says in the manual, I don't see any difference in the guides.
I've tried exiting the sims before going into U240, but that didn't change either. Any input appreciated.
                              Hope that helps !
