TASKalfa 2551 ci blue lines on the top of the sheet

Hi

A Taskalfa 2551i ci prints blu lines on the top fo the sheet in color mode

I always repair canon machines( the customer ask for a favor) and this problems it seems cyan drum problem, how can I know the drum life in this machine

10871087 > browse to U251 to see yield on maintenance kits. Cyan drum is part of Maintenance Kit B.

All the best

You can swap the drums round to help trouble shoot, so swap with the yellow for example.

They also respond well to cleaning if its dried on toner clean it off with alcohol etc.

M Cnt B IS 30.527

do you know what is the black drum life and color drum life?'

I swap yellow drum and cyan drum(how copy tech said )and the prints are improving but still there is a llitle blue on the top of the sheet, .......I thought that doing that the lines on the top of the sheet would be yellow..... do you know what is the reason??

Ok, so you can rule out the drum being the issue.

Take out the cyan dev unit can you see a build up on the roller?

Have you checked the cyan dv unit?

Firmware is out dated, 2014.

Hard to tell from that example. Print out test charts @ U089 and post those please.

That does not look like lines to me. It looks like overtoned cyan developer. =^..^=
