Where do you find older firmware on the new website?

I've looked everywhere and can't locate firmware for older machines anywhere on this redesigned site. I contacted Kyocera but not expecting any response from them. I was specifically looking for 2552ci but noticed they only have newer models to choose from in the drop down menu.

Log in and go to Support and Select Download Center and search for that model. I found it.

I was just thinking the same thing. The new website is garbage, or at least not ready for prime time. They sent an email listing a readme file about a reset firmware for the 306ci/356ci. I was interested in learning more but now these links go nowhere. What used to be copystarcentral.com is now mycopystar.copystar.com. It looks more like a public site rather than a dealer site.

You're getting quite rousing this time, aren't you

I appreciate it but we got the problem taken care of. Kyocera actually contacted me back and said the website is under construction and they haven't uploaded everything to it yet but will be completed soon.

They must-have put it up in the last day or two, it wasn't there when I looked.

I agree that the new site is garbage. There are also notable differences between the Copystar site and the Kyocera site. Many things are still not on the Copystar site. And I work for a Copystar dealer.

I was told that if I go to kyoceradocumentsolutions.us, I could log on with my Copystar credentials. It works and I can find things that are not yet on the Copystar site.

                  Maybe that will help.

Re: Where do you find older firmware on the new website?

Unlike other manufacturers, Kyocera takes down any out of date firmware versions. That's why I still have dozens of versions out of date firmware. Once the new firmware comes out, the old disappears forever. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

except for that one time with the 00 series and they had to take a step back...which is why I save the old firmware as well

My first experience with widespread firmware bugs was on the FalconIII:

Cannot receive faxes, intermittently. "U01110" Rx errors viewable on U670 Error Log. Possible defect in firmware affecting versions 2.41, 2.43, & 2.44. Downgrading of firmware to version 2.40, or upgrade to version 2.45a or above.

I was going to say contact Kyocera and they will either send you a link to the page, or an email with the FW. We called to called them a couple of times in the first weeks of the new site launch, and that is what they did for us.
