How to select a sleep mode at Kyocera's printers?

    Hi everybody,

I'm encountering an issue with my P6235cdn printer. Despite being almost new, it's been experiencing a serious problem with its sleep mode. The printer tends to hang up in this mode, and the only way to resolve the issue is by unplugging the power cord for at least 15 minutes.

In multifunction printer (MFP) models, we can change maintenance mode 346 to address similar issues. However, I'm unsure how to achieve the same result on this standalone printer. Is there a sub-page under the Command Center where I can change this setting? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

On the webpage, after logging in, select Device Settings > Energy Saver/Timer > Quick Recovery. Never had an issue like what you're experiencing, and we have had 30 of these in the field for the past 5 years.

There were a few issues on this model. Updating the firmware & sleep settings does the trick.

try to send FRPO command [!R! KCFG "BAMM",0; EXIT;]. to be able for [quick recovery].
otherwise it`s not available, i think.
Reset by [!R! KCFG "BAMM",1; EXIT;]

Quick recovery mode is not available in Europe, firmware is allready newest, i'll try with FRPO command. Thanks for help :-). !R! KCFG "BAMM",0; EXIT; works fine, now "Quick recovery" mode is available under "Sleep mode" settings
