copy image is fade . When i turn on machine it tries to load toner. MAchine has made about 100k copies . Any idea?

Is the machine in a high humidity environment? This looks like condensation on the drum. In the short tern a drum refresh may remove that condensation. If the environment stays humid it will be an ongoing issue.
If you choose to replace the developing unit, there is an instruction sheet telling you exactly what you must do during the developing unit replacement, right in the box with the new part.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

remove all the drums, and devs. Clean the laser glass, they get dirty . Sometimes they get condesation or dirt inside the laser mirrors. Could be cleaned, but you have to use your wits to clean them. Suddenly it made some quality copies but next day the same. Noticed that when there is a smell from copier when this fade copy occures.

If you push in on the right hand cover does it make a good print. Had one that the clips to hold in the HVPWB were broken causing something like what you have.Comment
