Your secondary transfer release casing is broken. That is quite a job to replace. The other issue was likely paper dust. The area circled in the pic should be black as this backs up the sensor in the machine.

I see. To have gotten the jam 0000 error fixed and was able to print stuff but now it makes like a grinding noise and a Machine failure C2730 where is the secondary transfer release casing ? Is there a part number or a walk through?

Yes there is a weak gear pin that breaks. Not fun!

You being an end user needs to hire a trained tech.
We techs have trained on equipment for decades to get to this level.
End users THINK they can do our jobs.
Bet you don't have a service manual.

I'm sure it's a detailed complicated repair from the looks of the diagram, but thank you for the inspirational words. I also do have a copy of the Service Manual.

If you've got this far, you're through the worst of it. There's a lot of spring tension on the secondary transfer unit.

When you're assembling leave the springs for last. The springs will insert through a slot at the front and back, after the transfer unit is secure. =^..^=

If you decide to replace the whole right side door, only use a right side door from a 3050ci or a 3550ci. Although the part (302K924782 Drive Release Housing) is the same inside the door on the 3050ci,3550ci,4550ci,5550ci, the right side doors are different on the 4550ci and 5550ci.

I have replaced the Drive Release Housing a few time and its not all that hard, just a bit of a pain in the ass the first time.

If you keep any of these models (3050ci,3550ci,4550ci,5550ci,3051ci,3551ci,4551ci, 5551ci) out in the field for a while, you will run into this problem. Not a matter of if, just a matter of when.

Ok...... So i changed the housing part # 302K924782 Drive Release Housing... my housing looked fine. I still get the error and the noise. Can it be something in the housing? Everything looked good. Not sure if i should all new pieces inside the housing.

Were any of the gears damaged? That would have been a good time to look ... when it was apart. =^..^=
