    Firmware Triumph Adler 2500ci

    Good evening dear community,
I’m having some difficulties concerning scan to file on a Triumph Adler 2500ci.
I’ve checked and double checked and my conclusion is that the Firmware from 2014 is not compatible anymore to actual security demands.
Is there any one here on this forum who would be so kind and send me a more recent version?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards

According to the compatibility list, this device is the same as TASKalfa 2551ci. I am posting a link to the firmware for the TASKalfa 2551ci. The firmware is from 2020 and it works with SMB on Windows 10 / 11.

    Code:

      Its the same......
You also can ask Triumph Adler for help, i think.
Get in touch with support@triumph-adler.net and try.

There isn't any firmware for TASKalfa 2551ci on Kyocera website, a least not in Europe.

We've given up using that site for firmware, it's useless now.. We get it via KFS for downloading, or just use KFS to do it.

UTAX/TA partnersite has the FW for that model, and is available via UFS. V6.05 released 04/05/2020

Kyocera is something new to me, so I have a question: is KFS free or is it paid service? How to obtain this tool?

                  KFS is: Kyocera Fleet Services.

It enables you to collect toner levels and meter readings automatically several times a day, it's a paid for monthly per machine basis, I have no idea of cost.

You set the machines up to report back to KFS, in Europe in our cases, and to your specific account but you can then change various settings on the machine as you would either through the 'System Menu' interface or the engineers mode.

You can for instance get the machine to do laser cleans/drum refresh/dev refresh etc. or operate functions within the engineers mode, like for instance putting it into 'coin-op' mode for those that don't pay... (Apparently/allegedly) 😉

Remote firmware update is also available and you can download all of the latest firmware for all machine unlike the European site, as is seeing the current copier display, or even being able to link to the machine and see what buttons the customer is pressing, or show them what to do/press remotely (after they have pressed the 'Agree' button on the display).

It's very good and helpful when you need it, it saves us a lot of site visits sometimes.

                    And other stuff.
A couple of screen shots of the sort of info available on the 'desktop' version ATM :

                    Screenshot 2025-05-15 111542.png
There is also a phone app that is very useful out in the field but not quite as comprehensive, an example here:
                    Screenshot_20250515-112150.png
The 'Tasks' button bottom right is where you can get the system to automatically do a firmware update remotely.

Hope that helps shed some light on the abilities of KFS,

                      Good afternoon dear community,
I ask for apologies but I made a small confusion. Instead of a Triumph Adler 2500ci it's actually a UTAX 2500ci. They are all similar models but in this case it makes a difference.
So I drove to my client hopping that the Firmware from an identical TASKalfa 2551ci would fit but unfortunately the machine didn't recognised the Firmware from the USB-Stick and just started as usual.
Is there any one of you who as access to UTAX Firmware? I would be very thankful. Sorry again for my mistake.
                      Best regards

Aren't UTAX and Triumph-Adler the same? When We buy Triumph-Adler, We always get two stickers - UTAX and Triump-Adler. Could it be that USB with firmware was incorrectly prepared?

That's usually the case. In almost every case firmware has failed, it was because I was trying to load the wrong model firmware, lol.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If this system won't accept the usb key, check if usb port isn't blocked, use other usb key, take care that fw is stored in mainroot, or maybe storage size from key is too big and system can't reader the content.
Try usb port on main pwb also when usb connections are not blocked.
Have had failed upgrade with 6 diff keys, finally the 7th key with 1gb storage size worked....
