Misfeeds (Jam J21) misfeeds from tray #3, ledger size. (21.03.0C.01.03) Inadequate pressure on left side door idler rollers. Install two add'l pressure springs at lower vertical path idler rollers in left middle door.
That's what I've got in the database. =^..^=
One spring provides inadequate pressure.
Three springs won't let paper pass, and actually launches the idler roller when you open the door.
Two springs is just right.
A little WD40 on the rubber vertical path rollers can help also. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: KM5050 jams from drawer 2 only
Sounds like a stall in vertical conveying.
Take back cover off and rear left cover.
Get back and see if you can hear which shaft is causing that in vertical feed assembly.
I remember having a few of those have the bushings and e-clips deteriorate and the whole shaft would shift side to side real easy.
Grab the gray rollers for tray two relay and shift them side to side and see if there is excessive movement. You can compare to the lower set of rollers. If they move excessively and have a lot of play in them, they can stall on feed. And that sounds like a stall in feed drive for the vertical conveying assembly.
Thank you for providing the video. That always helps.
Best wishes and please post back.Comment

Misfeeds (Jam J12, J21) from tray #3. Paper is folded over toward the bottom of the stack on the left side of the PF-750. Load paper properly.
Misfeeds (Jam J21) misfeeds from tray #3, ledger size. (21.03.0C.01.03) Inadequate pressure on left side door idler rollers. Install two add'l pressure springs at lower vertical path idler rollers in left middle door.
Misfeeds (Jam J21) misfeeds from tray #4, legal size. Tray for is incorrectly hard programmed to letter size paper. Go to System Settings > Original/Paper Setup [Next] > Cassette Setting [Next] > Paper Size [Change] > Auto > Inch > OK > Media Type [Change] > Plain > OK > Close x4.
Misfeeds (Jam 21) multiple feeds from tray #2. (21.02.86.01.03) Shimmed FSW2 & FSW3 with 1mm mylar shim. Riffled paper in tray #2.
Misfeeds (Jam 21) from tray #3. Letter size paper has been printed when ledger was selected. (21.03.0C.01.01) Letter paper has been stacked upon ledger paper in the ledger tray #3. Installed only ledger size paper in tray #3.

At least you made progress. The noise is the only thing that still concerns me. At any rate, it sounds like the vertical conveying unit will need to be pulled for further investigation.Comment

Re: KM5050 jams from drawer 2 only
I saw your video, something is grabbing on the paper path. Can you try it with the left door open, put something to keep the interlock engaged and you can see where it actually stops, close only the door with the transfer roller.
Also you can open the cassete 2 door, hold the white swith with a finger and press start, if paper goes all the way out, you can rule out feed clutches, and the like.
My guess the roller shaft below the feed unit 1 is out of place, I have had the shaft loose the clip, bronze bearing falls off and shaft does not engage.
I have a few 4050/5050 on my route, i can take some pics.

I would guess at 2M+ clicks it's mechanical in drive for sure. Having a donor machine may be very handy in this case.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

You're on the right track with the vertical conveying rollers. I have had to replace the clutches that drive those rollers on Falcon I and II machines.Comment

Re: KM5050 jams from drawer 2 only
I just wanted to thank everyone for all the advice and suggestions.
This being a T&M customer they decided not to pursue it any further with today being the 4 trip on this particular problem.
They will continue to just use tray 1 until a suitable replacement machine can be found (which may not be soon given the current shortage of lease returns)Comment
