yes kyocera can provide you with firmware. because if you do it wrong you can brick a machine.

finally i found the required file

but the problem is already here

i need to reset the firmware to default factory settings because screen is blocked and no way to access to any function

i found that a kyocera reset tool can do it ... but i dint found the file ( hosted on rapidshare, dead hosting site )

Yes I tried all possible admin and password possibilites but it doesnt work

- When I power on the printer, the screen is all time blocked in this ( picture below ) ...
- Authentification/logout button is all time on.
- I dont have any information about watchdoc
- All buttons are not working.

- I found Original Firmware File , but reset task failed with KM netviewer ( identification problem )

If someone know to force reset firmware, or how to do a Manually reset ( using particular buttons)
or where i can found kyoceraresettool.rar

Are you trying to enter in maintenance mode with 1087/1087 and enter U002 ?

Firmware will not fix this, you have to remove the HyPAS application from the HDD which has been installed. It is trying to communicate with authentication server.

*edit: WatchDoc is gahbage 'Xerox' software loaded on a Kyocera. Who would do such blasphemy?

I think the easiest method is to replaced HDD since you cannot get around this software interface without 'secret' method used to get behind these custom software interfaces, which are always different.

If SD card is installed, remove it.

Good Idea : I just disconnected the SSD and the screen became Totally white ... So i will try to replace it or formatting it in offline mode then installing the firmware as new initial configuration

Please where i can found the ssd ??

Please note specific name of part for your machine:

306ci may have optional 32GB or 128 GB SSD (not HDD) and runs HyPAS from SSD or SD card.


356ci/406ci has standard 320GB HDD (not SSD):
