5053ci Magenta toner falls into cassette trays.

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows anything about toner falling into the trays.
I have spoke with another technician about it, but he suggest it might be a developer issue.
The copier had a maintenance kit installed 3-4 months ago along with the waste toner assembly, and the feed drive pwb and motor.
The second issue is that it is unable to pickup paper from the other trays (2,3,4) MP and Tray 1 works.
    Thank you!

When I tap the above area i notice the particles falling down into the cassette. I tried vacuuming it, but it seems like it is never ending.

That does look like a failed developing unit. In order to clean this up and make it stop you will need to remove the laser unit and clean the outside of the laser as well as the cavity in the machine where the laser sits. Don't forget to replace the leaking developing unit.

Agreed. Also remove the inner front cover and vacuum thoroughly to slow that endless trickle of toner/developer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you so much for the quick response.

Just took a look at the service manual on how to properly remove it.
        Looking forward to it!

finally you get the related bulletin for this.
Take care for page 6/10 and compare the serial number, maybe you will get a hit.

Unable to check the serial for the developer, but the serial does fall under the affected model.

              Thank you so much!!
