    Kyocera M2640idw - clean scan glass message

    Is there a way the turn off this message so it does not come on again? It jut keeps coming up and both scan glasses are clean. Customer would like it turned OFF.

    It doesn't look like it has U326 or any way to do it through the system menu that I can see.

        I agree with you all, but in past we have had other small A4 devices with sporadically colored scan stripes...
        In this cases U411 was helpfull for correct adjustment from the scanner.
        Maybe this can be helpfull in your case also.

          Our typical move when this happens is to thoroughly clean the optics. This usually takes care of it. In the cases that it did not take care of it we wound up replacing the device and I was not able to further troubleshoot it.

            did the customer clean it? or did you clean it? did you reboot afterwards? the only ones i have seen that says it, means it actually needs cleaning.
