5052ci refuses to forward incoming faxes to folder

I can not get this machine to forward incoming faxes to a folder, I turned on Send and Forward and it sends the outgoing ones to the folder just fine. Hopefully I am missing something someone here will see. I have set this up numerous times for this because it is a training machine we use ourselves and the settings get removed from time to time for training. Hopefully these links work, this forum is a little odd about posting pics to me.

shouldnt it be set to wherever you told it to send the outcoming switch it to incoming? in the fax settings? not just the folder section. sorry just trying to go off memory. i don't have a kyocera to look at in front of me.

There are 2 separate spots to do it, one for incoming and ine for outgoing. Outgoing works fine but incoming acts like it's not even set up, no error or anything.

when the SMB folder was setup a user was assigned R/W permissions yes?
does the folder work just sending a scan through the feeder?
if the SMB folder works fine then id try to setup fowarding from scratch.
delete the entries and start again but choose the folder from the established list, dont type it in manually on the webpage unless there is no option in the LCD panel but i think there is.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

The machine scans to the folder just fine and I even it up to scan the outgoing faxes and those go to the folder just fine, when I try to receive a fax it just prints out with no error, like it isn't set up correctly but all you do is turn it on and tell it what folder to go to, which I have done numerous times. It's odd.

Even if it's up to date, re-flash the firmware, NOT Turbo, and then see what happens. After that, backup the machine, clear it with u021, and then add the necessary settings BY HAND to test it, and then if it works, push everything back on, and test again. I've seen settings get screwy and cause weird issues.
