    cs 2550 c6000 code

This machine had a c6000. I tried resetting in u163 but it wouldn't work. I replaced the fuser with a new OEM, machine ran great.... for one day. The code came back again! Any ideas, perhaps main board?
    Please help!

    Hey Copychick. Long time-no see.

These machine run quite hot. Try lowering the fixing temperature, and replacing the thermostat. This will solve some other issues also. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks blackcat- I thought you would respond with an answer for me! So by how much would I lower the fuser temp?

Between 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. Just make sure that your copies are still fusing. And if your enduser is using heavy paper they Must select the correct media type. =^..^=

Have you heard of a door interlock throwing a C6000 code on a CS-3035

No, but it makes a certain amount of sense...

It's common practice to have a door interlock cut power to the fuser and/or high voltage to protect the enduser when removing jams. =^..^=
