task alfa 250/300ci exit tray is full

I can replace the harness, the sensor, the exit section... the error exit tray is full will periodically occur... I don't have access to this machine today... but I am wondering if someone can test this idea out... is there a way to disable the exit tray sensor and still have the copier work... is there a sim mode like sim mode 342 on the km 1810... thanks in advance...

Most of these finishers count pages into the tray. I can't imagine how you would fake that... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

here is an update... the last time this occurred... the frame was bent.... the frame bar over the fuser was bent so this error would occur.... so I suspect that either there is a frame bent issue or a timing issue... now for a fix... since this copier has a finisher... i am going to forward all copies through the finisher... use the finisher's exit tray and not the copier's .... if this works then good.... after that its time to wait for kyocera to wise up and fix this issue...

Had similar problem with KM5035. They had two models bam and no bam (one had energy saver key the other hadn't). If you updated firmware with the other model "exit tray full" would appear on screen...
