    Did you format the HDD?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Hi, I did not do the work but was told they only used scandisk U989 and did not format the HDD.
To format the disk you use U024.

      U989 HDD scandisk
      Description
Restores data in the hard disk by scanning the disk.
      Purpose
If power is turned off while accessing to the hard disk is performed, the control information in the hard disk

drive may be damaged. Use this mode to restore the data.

Thanks madas. I've been documenting cfxxx codes for a while now (since the manufacturer doesn't care to). Whenever you figure one out, please let me know. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
