Multiple senders for scan to email from a task alfa

Is there a way to setup multiple senders for scan to email on the task alfas... I checked with the help desk and they said no. But if it is possible I figured someone here might know...

If you enable User Login the machine will use the email address of the logged in user as sender. See pg 414 of the Operators Manual.

How badly do they want to change the sender? User Login quickly frustrates even the most dedicated user. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      question

does the user login allow for athentication of the email address... or does it have to be a no authentication situation?

No, it'll just show that it came from that user. It's still using the account that's set up in the SMTP settings to send.
        Hope that helps !

If you decide to use this, I recommend that you use numeric characters for your username and password, and keep the entries short. They can be entered from the number keypad quickly. If you use letters they must be entered from the dinky panel keyboard, and you'll end up replacing touch panels regularly because of the additional wear and tear. =^..^=
