    CS-400ci with c-2810

I had a 400ci with a c-2810, waste toner motor problem. It has the spring in the waste toner assy. I checked the motor and it was bad , so I replaced it. The new motor now ran constantly, and still had a C-2810. I replaced the engine board. Same problem. I have checked all the waste toner tubes, etc., and the belt. Nothing is clogged or hard to turn. I called the Kyocera hotline, and they said there are no other possibilities and I need to replace both the motor and board at the same time. Anyone have any other ideas? I know it's a pretty simple circuit, but maybe there are other things I am missing. Anyone had this and found a different fix?

This is extremely common on the VoyagerE series. The shorting motor takes out the engine board. The bad engine board takes out the waste toner motor. If you replace both as a set, simultaneously, you'll have it. Also check that the transfer waste drive can turn manually, and is not clogged. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
