    TASKAlfa 250ci

Hi i was hoping someone has had this problem before its on a DP-750 attached to the TA250ci.The issue is the lift motor does not lift the plate up to allow the original to enter the DP.
Trying to test it in sim mode the motor does not move, but if i move the white cam out if position then the dp resets its self, and moves cam back to home position and moves plate down(that tells me that the motor works)
The machine has only done 80k i cannot see any reason for the cam not to turn and nothing is stopping the plate from moving up to meet the dp feed rollers the dp registers paper and trys then jams.
    Any idea's

Check the plastic frame holding the PU and Feed rollers. The hook piece holding the assy in place at feed in point may be broken.

If it's like the DP-710 on the VoyagerE, the spring that raises the lift plate can break at one of the loops. I've changed a few. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Take off the covers and put the copy in place, you will see the clutch kick in and spin but the opposite gear does not connect properly as the clutch will not Function correctly, If you have a chance look at another DP and you will see the clutch activate when the paper is loaded..

Make sure when the clutch activates the gear turns correctly and gives rise to the plate...

Had two of this problem before, i...mistakenly created one of them...

One way to test if the lift plate is working is to take the black cover off and push the cam to some other position.
When you close the cover the lift plate returns to home position, everything there could be ok.

Is there a white bushing cover on the drive shaft, should be only.one of its kind

What could happen is, that little hhing as prior poster mientioned isnt detected at all. If you look at the pickup assembly, therhould be something sticking out on the left side, and a sensor check if thats there.

Either that thing is broken, or was recently taken apart and the white bushing cover went missing.

I dont have the parts manual to hand, otherwise i would identify the correct part that i believe causes this problem..... TY
