When you solve your fuser problem, you can reset fuser errors with sim 163.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The correct procedure is to call a qualified technical representative. Especially with a fuser problem. The reason the fuser malfunction can only be reset by qualified technician is to prevent fire hazard.

I think this a great site with alot of qualified technicians but we still need help from time to time on some of the weird faults we see out there. However, I dont think the lack of a manual makes a person unqualified

But just think of all the knowledge you'll get from a manual. It could be the best $11.77 you've ever spent.

Some of the posts i read seem to be from "users" trying to repair, not technicians. Trained technicians should not need to ask for basic information such as how to enter service modes and reset codes. I thought this forum was for "techs" to trade ideas when they are stuck on a problem. Sorry if I offend anyone.
