When scanning an original off the glass, the blacks are black. When yous scan with the ADF the blacks are printed as blue. At the time I didn't look real close but the rest of the colors seemed ok. Any ideas?
Check the ADF slit glass. This model is prone to the slit glass scratching and forming a haze. How are the colors in print? You can also go into F! service mode and run the drum colors individually.
Certainly cleaning optics should help, but I am curious, Does your customer run everything in full color mode? Most of my customers (if not all) keep their machine set to black and white only, and select color copiers if they have the need.
When you turn on the machine, you will see the scanner lamp light. First it moves out and scans a white strip under the glass, next it moves back and scans the white strip of the ADF. The machine will calibrate it's performance based on the values it gets from the two white strips respectively.
