    hello, how do you ask I explain it in plain words: "full music" it is a calibration / registration from sp mode very complete, and as slimslob says it also integrates the correction of the laser position motors into the calibration routine,

    It's an adjustment on the laser mirrors, to obtain that the image of al 4 drums is aligned.

    I think you don't really have to know the specifics of what MUSIC is, just what Lagonda said is close enough. If you ever have a problem related to it, I guess it's time to hit the books for specifics. Isn't that the way we fix things everyday, go along with routine stuff until something unusual pops up, then hit the books to learn how it works so we can figure out why it's not.

    They let you train on a Pro C and you haven't found out what MUSIC is ???!!!!! eeek!!!!!

    Basically MUSIC (don't ask me what the acronym stand for, I've forgotten) is drawing lines and patches all over the ITB then measuring the distance between the lines for registration and the density of the patches for toner control.

    I think you better sit down and have a long read of the manual.

    i am a ricoh tech. and i have gone to training on the pro c5200. but i don't truly understand MUSIC. can someone explain that one in simple terms please? i know there is full MUSIC and normal MUSIC. what's the difference in the two? i know it has to do with the image quality. thanks for any input.
