    Older Ricoh fuser question

Had a "stupid" question about the thermistors on the older style fuser. The one I'm working on is a MP2550 B&W. The fuser is very common used on many models. Anyway I don't work on many ricoh's and a little confused with which way the thermistors are installed? Seems they can go in either way to contact roller, and do see the tape is curved. What is the correct way to install these.

    Thanks in advance

The plastic tab faces up so it can fit into the slot on the metal bracket you are mounting it with.

Yep, it only fits one way.

        Thanks for the answers.

There are tabs on both sides and looked like they could go in either way. After taking them out and looking again the screw hole don't line up right if put in wrong. Like I said in my original post I had a "stupid" question.

If you check, the pins on the thermistor is offset, the hole will only align one way.
