Re: Ricoh mp c5503
JPG's do not give us an actual representation of the problem, and are too hard to explode for closer inspection.
and this isn't a 'new' product.Comment

72 dpi pdf RGB and Jpeg RGB is the same by the way, only using for viewing, both are compressed bc the site will not allow you to upload a high res file. we have heidelberg printing equipment 8 color.
thank you for your help thoComment

Re: Ricoh mp c5503
We have seen on the Cxx03 and Cxx04 series, that a bad PCU can cause this issue.
Just had one that came in from wholesaler with low meters (black = 60k, Color = 20k), internal prints are perfect, but anything run through DF would be really washed out and light. Replaced black PCU and Presto! Back to nice dark copies.
Also, check on the back of your black PCDU, and make sure the cover with the little copper contact inside is attached (and completely screwed down), have seen these left off quite a bit, but usually ALL prints/ copies come out bad.
Otherwise, back to basics, like cleaning optics. With the single pass feeders, the CIS scans back side of page, and the "regular optics" scan the front simultaneously. If backside is fine, then I would be looking at regular optics or Doc. Feeder glass.OmertÃComment
