MP4000 smearing issue

    MP4000 smearing issue

    When this machine wakes up the first two or three pages are not fused in the middle in the page then everything is fine and will run all day
    ive changed the fuser, same thing, upped the temp in the center , same thing
    anyone been through this?
    please advise

    1- check the paper if it is damp, in this case install a heater. 2- update the firmware. 3- original toner? 4- is the fuser you installed new? if not, replace rollers and thermistors

      Been through this multiple times on many of models going back several years - on other models however, and not specifically this one.
      The solution has always been to turn on Fuser Idling (SP1103-001)

        yes on all counts oem toner,new rebuilt fuser (second one) i will check the paper with the client,

          Turn on fusing idling,increase the tempreture of heater.also in my case,it happened for me more in 110 volte matchins with trans 220 to110 when the voltage decrease.
