    MPC2504ex Sc843-02

Check the manual, SC843-02 say panel eMMC already rewrote threshold. Any way to reset it, instead of replacing the whole panel?

Well, the bulletin and manual say to replace it. I asking if there's a way to reset it. For example, we can format hardisk, can we do the same with the eMMc?

There is no HDD or SSD on the Smart Operation Panel. If I were an android software engineer and had a complete set of the OS as implemented on the SOP, I might be able to reverse engineer it and come up with a way to clear the registers. Minimum charge to do so would be at least $5,000.00 and you would have to send the SOP to me to work on in my lab. It would most likely take 2 to 3 weeks.

If you get really lucky Hytec Dealer Services might have already developed a method for their lab to fix the problem.

Man. Ricoh really plan for obsolescence. Like it or not, need to buy new parts or machine.

It would be interesting to understand if there is a way to visualize the status of the R/W cycles before it reaches the limit

Have you tried updating the SOP cheetah firmware & performing a hard reset ?
