    IMC3500 SP mode Language

    Hi everyone,
    the sp (service mode ) mode language is Japanese could you please help me to give me the method to change it to English

    Try updating the firmware, sounds like it has been updated with Japanese fw in the past.

    We can supply the latest (English) should you need it.

        one of our techs did this once. use google translate. then your phone should read it, display it in english then you should be able to locate it from there? i dont think you need firmware.

          Enter service mode (even if it is in Japanese) and go to SP 5807 then type 1 for N.A. (North America) then OK and exit. When you re-enter SP mode it will be in English

            Abit sus when just SP mode in japanese but front screen in english.

              Yes.Can often happen when a controller or NVram is replaced with a brand new one. The default off the production line is Japanese. Machines are configured before they are shipped, parts are not. The front panel language is stored on the front panel memory.

                i thought once change the language, both front and SP mode will follow the language we select at front

                    thanks for reply, if I chose North America or Europe error appears SC995-04 but error goes once I select Japan.

                        What version firmware is the device on ? You can check with SP-7-801
