    Ricoh MP5055 every morning SC672-21

Have a Ricoh MP5055 the customer reports SC672- 21 every morning. They power it on/ off and it is gone till next morning. Replaced the IPU board per Ricoh, Auto firmware is on.
    Thanks for any help.

the manual is very clear on that sc code "controller error", you can see that it has some problems when cold, no need to tell you to try to connect and disconnect it, because by replacing the ipu you have already done it.
if you don't have another controller, try to replace at least the hdd, maybe you're lucky, and that was it... it already happened here.

I see it could be the USB cable. I replaced the USB cable to the SOP in the past. I am pretty sure it was 672-21.

I've had some SC672's that would temporarily reset with a reboot, resolved by replacing the HDD
