Thanks I already tried this tool but it didn't work. All i got was an update for Java. But my old firmware still the same.1f843385-2539-44d1-9923-565ad97eed31.jpg

Sounds like you only downloaded the JAVA Platform tool and not the main firmware tool. You might already be at the latest version.

Exactly what is the problem that you think you need firmware to correct? You may beating your head against the wall over something that doesn't exist. Start a new thread with all the information that we need to diagnose your problem.

That's the FW version for the panel - kind of "not so important" - you can see more FW version infos on the web interface, perhaps copy&paste it here so we can tell you if an update makes sense. What's the reason you think you need an update?

My interface is so old compared to a friend who has the same machine. I only have classical tools . I have no application site to download programs . I have no widgets to use. I guess it is old version of android. Sometimes my apps don't log on so I had to restart the machine.

I think there's no way to get this machine showing the modern user tools - I think this was introduced with the later IMC series with a certain ACT level. It's also possible that your friend owns an MPC307 - it looks kind of the same but also comes with some design tweaks you won't get with an update.

I bought the two machines and I'm sure they are both mp c306z. Today I will visit him and get his Fw and his interface screeshots and post it to comapre .

I retired in the spring of 2017. The MP C306Z/406z were introduced while I was still working. When was the IMC series first introduced?

You may have an original Normal Operation panel. If there is a physical 10 key number pad it is a normal panel. Have you tried scrolling the home screen? When the SOP was introduced many user did not like there being no ten key of the quick operation screens and had the classic tools installed on the main Home screen. You might be able to use the Smart Operation Panel Designer to further configure your screens. Put a request in the manual request forum if you need the Designer.

This firmware is very old. For example System/Copy is Ver.1.29 dated 2022/04/16

Have you tried the Ricoh Firmware Update Tool?

Go to the Ricoh Middle East support page. Support and downloads | Ricoh Middle East
Search MP C306. Select either of the results.
Click Drivers and Downloads, Click the link given, Click Firmware
