    MPC3504 freezes at start up . .

    HI,
Customer called for an MPC3504 that won't start, it freezes on blue screen, no SC code
Switched the ctrl board, HDD and the Bicu from an workung machine, no results . .
    Operation Panel? (not changed yet)
    any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

Op panel is a possibility. Checked that the device is getting clean power?

Can you access WIM while the blue screen is displayed? If so. is there an error code displayed in WIM? If not, try powering it on with the front door open. If the problem is an engine error that is not being displayed, that will prevent the engine from starting until the door is closed. While the door is still open, enter SP mode and check the logged service codes for any codes that have not been displayed.

You can usually recover the SOP by updating the cheetah OS. Or setting the SOP back to factory default.

LOL yeah nothing beats a good collection of parts donators if you have a lot of units with service contracts in the field
