M2701 toner empty

Hi,

The device is almost new. Model M2701. The user says that the printer reports that the toner is empty even though he tried two new ones. I will check if he is dosing the toner to the developer. Can anyone tell me how to start toner dosing? Thanks.

check if the semi-transparent valve located under the black cap is not trapped in the hopper. Check as you have already mentioned if the toner falls into the pcdu.

well if it's almost new then it probably only has a starter cartridge in it....

try to open/close the low right low door, or remove and re-enter the pcdu to reload toner routine, and reset a condition, maybe clogged toner patch by cool temperature and need a vac(?)
