The entire setup sequence can be saved to a program key. After just 2 keystrokes and you are setup again. We had it as part of the initial setup of all machines being delivered to medical offices.
I think you have not understood me, what I want is to SCAN (not copy) the two sides of an ID to a folder and that a single-sided file arrives on the PC.
It's great to hear you're interested in scanning ID cards with your MP C3003. To answer your question, yes, it is possible to scan both sides of an ID card on a single page with the MP C3003. Many multi-function printers like the MP C3003 have a duplex scanning option, allowing you to scan both sides of a document on a single page. If you're looking for a more eco-friendly and efficient solution, consider using an automatic document scanning and OCR app Smart Engines. They offer a variety of tools to help you quickly digitize and organize your ID cards, so you don't have to manually flip the cards over to scan both sides.

I too would be interested in the subject, even if it is a bit outdated... However, it is not clear to me how you can not manually rotate the ID document.

Real big possible with that, most ID cards are too small to be fed through a document feeder without jamming and possibly damaging the card.
Hi, an easy and old question, is it possible to scan both sides of an id card on a single page with an mp c3003?
Thank you.
The answer is simple, it is impossible to scan both sides of an ID card and for a single file to reach the PC on an MP C3003, you would have to use some type of editing program after scanning both sides separately or have an specific APP installed in the machine to do that function. It is a fact. From 3004 onwards it can be done....

Actually that is wrong. I have been setting it up on Ricoh copiers at doctor offices for years, long before the C3003. Any digital copier that has duplex and combine functionality can do it. luca72 posted a link to the procedure in Italian. Here it is in English. ID Card Copy
