    MP 2501 copy very clear

    ricoh mp 2501 prints and copies are very clear after replacing the developer, drum and blade. can you help me improve the quality. or is it a defective model? thank you.

      Can you post a print sample of the issue?

      Did you replace the drum charge roller?

              Which developer did you use?
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                      Try cleaning the laser shield glass. If you don't know how, call a qualified technician before you totally brick the 2501.

                          Check if the dev drive gear is put back on the PCU unit.

                              Forgot about that possibility. Had one fall off while sliding the PCU back in on a 2510.

                                      in the case of the gear suggest up, is positioned correctly, you can clean the internal laser box (poligon, mirrors, lens), 8 min. of work, in anycase this it will definitely improve black, check also if the user set "save toner" in user tools print menu

                                                  Did you fit an original drum? Some generic drums will cause faint copies. Can you also check your dev bias charge value...
