[Error Code] Ricoh 2800 SC672

Hi
I have a RICOH 2800 that while opening displays Please Wait and immediately appears Sc672.
Any ideas?

From Goose's Guide:

Controller to Op Panel comm error - check connection between controller and op panel

Controller to Op Panel comm error - replace controller board

Controller to Op Panel comm error - confirm dip SW #1 is in the OFF position

Controller to Op Panel comm error - update system fw to 1.14.3 or higher & network docbox fw to 1.01 or higher

Try updating the firmware this may resolve the error. If this fails to update & you get SC672 replace the controller board.

Yes, the bad HDD can prevent the controller from starting up.

HDD error at startup would be either SC860 or SC861.
