I should have a file on the PC in the laboratory with all the bulletins for that model collected in a single PDF, if I find it in the afternoon I'll send it to you

There was a fantastic tech bulletin the other day for the 2010/3010's etc

SYMPTOM
Toner splashes when shaking the toner bottle without the toner cap tightened during toner installation.

SOLUTION
Shake the toner bottle with the cap tightened.

Made me chuckle anyway

There was a fantastic tech bulletin the other day for the 2010/3010's etc

It's called a toner bomb. I had a receptionist at the women's clinic for a hospital we serviced. Housekeeping had vacuumed and cleaned the counter by the time I got there but still had to clean the 2027, They later had to have a crew come in overnight to try to scrub and wax the floor to get rid of the toner that was walked into the floor tiles.

Best one I had for a toner bomb was a lady at an apartment complex shook a 2 series black toner bottle that was pretty much full and it went all down the front of the machine and all over the floor. This was at an apartment complex. She calls her maintenance person who proceeds to wheel in the wet vac. Machine is on one side of the room and both are cleaning up the toner mess without realizing that it is going straight through the wet vac and all over a wall, couch and floor behind them. Our maintenance hero then goes for the 409 cleaner to try to clean it up. Needless to say, it didn't go well.

I think they wound up getting rid of the couch and painting the wall.

Wish I had taken some pictures, but it seemed to be very impolite to do so at the time.

man i am glad i am not on that clean up crew... lol
then of course if i were i would use the ole toner vac.
