    MP 6000 unfinished job at exit

    the copier works for a bit then says on the display "unfinished job at exit" Document feeder related i know this much.

    if anyone has some info on this please reply. thank you in advance.

      I think you should check out the finiisher if you have 1. I belive this relates to paper left in the staple unit. if you belive its the ADF have you tried running in test mode ?

          I'm sorry i relayed the info incorrectly here is the exact problem

          i put a document in the document feeder, the lift plate lifts the originals up to the pickup tire,
          i press the start button, then at that time the lift plate goes back down and the screen says "job still exists"
          a second or 2 after this the document feeder shows "jam" where there is no jam it didn't pick up the page.

              Check over the DF feed aseembly, namely the two large black plates. I've had it before where the largest of the two had been fitted incorrectly and caused this problem.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Hit it.

                  Also check the sensor for the lift tray and swap it with one of the others for testing. There is also a TSB on the harness wearing out and causing similar issues, IIRC.
                  the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
