    Aficio 3030 Shooting Blanks

    Every so often the 3030 will make a blank copy or send a blank page. Happens 2 or three times aday

          Are you sure its not a d/f jamming problem as the copier will print out a blank copy after a d/f problem worth alookin the smc report

              It could also be pulling 2 sheets out of the cassette tray.

                  Yeah would usually get Jam or Misfeed error unless pages are pulled perfectly together.


                  Are pages completely blank? Nothing from ADF Lid or platen?

                      Tried the firmware update and it produced an SC819 which I think means a bad conection in one of the boards

                          Symptom
                          Kernel abnormal end error
                          A HDD error or a software error has
                          occurred, terminating the SCS process,
                          gwinit process, and finally the kernel
                          program.
                          A system process has exhausted the
                          RAM.
                          Possible Cause
                          HDD error

                          Software application error

                          RAM shortage

                          MBU jumper set incorrectly. For

                          manual "1. Installation".

                              SC819 could also mean your SD card is too big. They only like ones below 1GB.
                              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
