    mp 2510 ghosting (fuser)

this problem keeps re occuring every few weeks. ghosting is appearing on the background of a print from the previous print on to the next sheet, sometimes it repeats the same image when doing a long run. i can see a faint image on the fuser hot roller. it runs off after a few copies but then comes back at the start of a print job and during printing. its definitely coming from the hot roller for sure.

we have tried different types of paper. changed the hotroller, pressure roller, cleaning roller, thermisters and even swapped the whole fuser unit out. it is a new pcu. i turned on the fusing idling to one. this machine uses a non genuine toner which i have loads that too use the same toner bottle but never get this problem.

has anyone out there had the same problem as me? please help

If it is a new PCU, did you do a dev initialisation when you put it in? I had a ghosting problem after replacing the PCU as it had overtoned.
