Hi,

When copying from platen glass copies are perfect, but from ADF copies blurred and very bad.
I cleaned the and inspected the scanner slit glass, strip ADF section and checked frame if distorted.

Everything seems fine, but copies from ADF are very bad.
Copies attached.
If anyone had similar problem or know of the fault any help would be much appreciated.

When copying using the ADF, the entire surface of the image is under colored.
It is possible to distinguish text from images.
Does not occur in platen cover mode. It only occurs when using the ADF
try this
Return SP4-686-2 to factory defaults to restore.
and cleaned your adf

Did you clean all optics and the white plate? Looks like dirty optics.

Copier strip down and fully serviced optics adf scan glass etc.
Copy from platen glass perfect but from Adf very bad.
Even couter print copy perfect ony problem from adf.
Also changed Adf from another same model still same.

I've seen this before. People lean on the scanner. Works fine on the glass, but not through the scanner because the whole platen is bent down in the front-left. Grab the front-left scanner and pull the whole unit up (don't try to remove the unit, just a sharp jerk). Scanning should return to normal.
