Does anyone know if the fusers are interchangeable in these two models? There is some differences that are obvious but it looks to be the same dimensions etc. At the very least are the lower rollers compatible?
Thanks
They look alike, but the thermistors, heat tube, pressure roller and thermostats are all different. You'll more than likely get a fuser code swapping them out. The cleaning roller is the only universal part, as well as most frame pieces.
Thanks. I did a more in-depth side by side and realized that there are many differences. The manufacturers change the parts model to model but they don't necessarily improve them.
You'll get fuser errors, because the upper fuser roller is thinner on the 1035. Take it from me. I tried it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
