Moving the washers as per the bulletins only fixes H4-00 and H4-30 errors.

You only need to reset the fuser temps to default in Sim 43 with these codes, not H3-00.

Random H3-00 codes on the C-jupiter 3500/4500 series after changing the thermistors, checking the lamps and/or trying a new fuser unit means you most likley have a faulty harness.
This harness has been upgraded to solve the H3-00 issue.

Replace the harness from CN34 on PCU PWB to CN4 on HL PWB.

Part code varies according to the date of production.

Parts Guide Section 49, item 7.

    DHAi-3786FCZ2 (before April 2006)
    DHAi-3786FCZ3 (between April 2006 and July 2006)
    DHAi-3786FCZ4 (between August 2006 and September 2007)
    DHAi-3786FCZ5 (after September 2007)

    Too easy!

Did you ohm out the lamps? I have had H3 problems with lamps that are not perfect. Although not on this model but on other sharps. Only thing that I can think of, but it will normally progress to a continous H3 code though.

    4501 code H3-00

i have a problem on a 4501 which calls this code regularly. in the past colleagues have fitted thermistors on two occaisions and also reset sim 44-01 as per the Sharp tech bulletin.
I moved the thermostat washers as recommended in another missive and upgraded the firmware but still have this fault.
all connections look/checkout ok. I can copy 500 duplex colour on this m/c and it's fine but the call comes back. All AC input has been tested and the m/c has been plugged into a different ring main.

yesterday i returned sim 44-01 to default....

    any ideas out there???
