    Sharp MX4100, wrinkling copies

Customer keeps complaining of wrinkled copier, they have set some aside, but I have yet to see it happen.

Prints/copies look as if paper hits the fuser crooked, however registration on all sides of image are fine.

Customer did not complain of this until after I replaced web??????? What did I do? Can't find anything that looks out of place.

    Any tips appreciated.

Just check the Upper Fuser Roller bushings havn't started to crack. That would give irregular pressure, which would obviously cause some creasing.
These bushings have been upgraded. The old style color of them is black. The new style is greenish-yellow.

Try different paper as well. Make sure web unit is seated correctly and that it is wound through the web unit correctly. It is slightly different design to the MX3500/4500 series web. I have also seen a few web units damaged out of the box at the pressure roller end.

Labels stuck in the reg unit can cause wrinkles as well. Check really close on the hard white plastic roller as the labels blend in nicely.
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Hey Mike,I know you didn't mess with them but are the front and rear pressure release levers still in time?
